I voted already.

8 a.m., bright and early at the polls. And there were a large number of Democrat flunkies outside waving their Deval, Bump and Markey signs. Also a few of the local Democrat State Rep weenies, too ... I wonder what on Earth their pay-off can be? Are there people so motivated by their "party" that they will stand out in the cold to hold signs for the Second-Assistant Dog Catcher? Er?

I stood outside awhile looking them over ... then I rotated 90 degrees to look at the people coming from the polls: grim-faced or happy, what or who could they have voted for? I sort of believe that the grim-faced ones came out determined ... determined to throw the bums out. The happy-smiley types just had to have voted for Ed Markey. Only someone so dim as to take Markey seriously could have that beatific expression on their faces on a morning of change.

One small glitch, though .... I had to first state my street and number to get my ballot card. Then my name. Fine. So I took my ballot card and voted for Baker, Mary Z, Dembrowski (Markey challenger), Georgountzos (State Rep) and whoever it was running against Galvin (of the deny the military their votes fame) and Coakley (I'd vote for Saddam in preference ... you know he could enforce the laws of the Commonwealth). In short, if you were an incumbent, I voted against you.  Back to the story ... so to hand the ballot in, I had to repeat my name and street number. So I did. Then they asked me for my full name -- so I gave it to them, even though I can read upside down very well and fast (a skill developed in countless legal meetings where it helps to be able to read opposing counsel's notes at least as fast as he can), and my full name was not next to my street address, only first and last.

They made me repeat it again ... at which point I stated"I have already given you my name three times, is there a problem?"
"No, we just have to check."
"Check what?"
"Check that you are who you say you are." A three second pause.
"Izzatso?" After a full-on stare at them, during which time they visibly and physically recoiled, I turned and walked to the vote machine and fed my ballot in.

Exactly WTF was happening there? I mean, it was not as though we need to show any ID in Massholechusetts to vote -- a measure I would be TOTALLY in favor of. But as it stands, my full name is not any of their business and could not be checked in any event. If they/you misheard, then state so and I will gladly repeat it as many times as you/they need to be clear. So why the grilling? Were/are they able to read upside down as proficiently as I can, and in so doing spotted an apparent rogue GOP interloper in their midst? It was slightly surreal ... one of those times where the fabric of space/time seems to slow and everything becomes crystal clear.  Interestingly, I had one of those slightly deja-vu moments driving to the polls, as if waiting for some oddity to occur.

Which brings me to results. I can't help but feel that there is going to be massive Democrat-inspired voter fraud today. It won't help stem the tide against them, but it might temper matters where it counts. I also feel change in the air and the people against whom the tide is turning are not going to let this slide by without a fight. Tempers are going to flare and charges are going to be leveled.  More of the Jill Stein -- Al Gore won in 2000 crap (which every study by serious investigators -- from both sides of the aisle -- now concede was a Bush victory, however unfortunate for us).

Get out and vote the bums out.

certainly like your web site however you have to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts.

A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome
to tell the truth then again I will certainly come again again.
