Retrospective:

I really, really would like for as many looney leftist-liberals to read the past postings of this blog which covered the first two years of the Obama Administration.  From topic to topic ... see how hopelessly incorrect the Left has been, on just about every front and how anyone with a shred of common sense could have seen that at the time.

With this track record available for all to read, I am going to try to resurrect this blog for this coming election cycle. Maybe I can shed a little light into the darkness of a country torn apart by identity politics and sheer lies promulgated as truth by the Left / DNC.

Its been a month

And why haven't I blogged? Well the usual stuff, like Christmas, work, ennui .... I have at least two contracts to get "out" today and a lunch meeting, so what am I doing blogging?

Let's talk about Obama. As a guy, I think I might like him -- he might be a good member of the foursome you put together for a scramble, possibly a good matchplay partner. That sort of thing. But as President of the United States, I absolutely loathe him.

Did it escape anyone's attention that Chavez has 18 months of rule by Presidential Decree granted to him by a lame duck assembly after Chavez's humiliating defeat at the ballot box (even after massive voter fraud). So how is it that a politician that was essentially voted from office suddenly gets dictatorial powers?

This marks the entry of Venezuela into a very dark world. This will cause the U.S. a great deal of trouble and vastly more for their democratic neighbors in South America. But watch this: that sphincter in the White House will do absolutely nothing about it. Maybe even suggest a summit. This is a catastrophe and there is silence from Obama.

Just a few things

I simply cannot stand any more of these "tax cut" debates and rants. Let's make it clear and without the leftist spin placed on the matter by the lapdog liberals of the media:

Our current rates are what they are. Call it level X. If by inaction, they rise ... then the choice/deed of inaction causes taxes to rise, then it would be a tax rate increase. A tax hike. If by action they were allowed to remain the same, then it is taxes remaining the same -- a choice made by the relevant legislators. If they were to decrease, then that too, would be an action, a deed.  So by "forcing Obama" to sign the extension, we are not making a tax cut. We are not "GIVING" tax breaks to the rich, or for that matter anyone.

Taxes are the UNNATURAL state of affairs. The neutral state is no taxes -- taxes by their nature are an affirmative action to take money from one group of people to spend on the common good or to distribute to others. That is reality.So any time a body imposes taxes on others, it is not a gift in any way sense or word: it is a taking. If unwilling, it is a form of state-sanctioned theft. Feel differently? Well on your tax return you are able to fill in the blank for what you would willingly give  -- EXTRA -- to the the IRS. I would be willing to bet that the percentage of people in the USA filling any number into that blank would be less than 1/10 of 1%.  Which means that all those Democrats and Liberals who loudly proclaim how important and civic minded the tax system is, miss the essential point: they don't walk the walk. They don't send in whatever sum they made in the previous year that is surplus to their needs. That would be the ultimate extension of their belief system. Therefore they are hypocrites.

For my part, I don't want to fund blueberry research in Maine. I don't want to fund bridges to nowhere. I don't want to extend unemployment benefits beyond 99 weeks. I don't want to provide free medical care for persons in this country illegally. I don't want to pay for ballots and RMV license documentation in two languages or poultry marketing in Korea. Or pay for Pelosi's 757. I want to cut government spending to infrastructure and military -- with precious little else. You corn farmers out in Iowa? You don't deserve subsidies to produce corn to make ethanol that we don't need. 

Speech should be free. Freedom to hate as well as love -- the limit of such freedom where it physically hurts another, either way. Where the population becomes inured to yet another taking, another removal of property and rights, we become a herd of sheep to be ruled by elites in Washington. I do not want this for my children.

WikiLeaks -- like farts in Church

Assange, the feared Dark Lord of Information, is now on Interpol's most wanted list. We are meant to keep a sharp lookout for this purveyor of semi-classified smut, lest he do irreparable damage to us all. Ok, well that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy....

And Sarah Palin demands that he be hunted down like Osama.... Hang on, but isn't Osama still out there ... drinking tea, making bombs and sending us the occasional Christmas message of hate and loathing? So, don't get me wrong,  but wouldn't it be better to just kill Assange, instead of spending a whole lot of money invading a country of goat herders, buying off local Mafia chiefs and generally making life dangerous for Americans on the ground there? Ummmm....  Lemme see, so in this case wouldn't that mean invading Iceland or Sweden (or some such place)? So instead of Mohammed and Abdullah, it would be Bjorn and Olaf trying to pop a cap in our heads? On the other hand, we could, probably, buy them off with a couple of cases of Sam Adams -- that wouldn't be too bad, and I image our servicemen and women wouldn't mind a spot of fraternization with those locals.... Heck, we'd be lucky to EVER leave ... let alone "withdraw." Contrast that with Kabul!! Let's fire up the C130s!!

Seriously, undoubtedly one of my favourite elements in this whole mess is that Hillary has a whole lot of 'splaining to do with various two-bit, third world, bovine quadrupeds masquerading as "elected Presidents," etc.  I mean, how delicious that Hills has to kiss-heine for the embarrassment of having sent her State Dept. minions to spy at cocktail parties. "I am so sooorrryy Ms. Kirchner that my minion was being so nosey...." LMAO!!!  Frikkin Putin has wet his pants laughing again: a veritable tide of mirth-induced urine flow is threatening the Kremlin.

An even more tasty element is that all these Wikileaks concern the Obama administration -- does that sound too gloating, am I a "hater?"  The context is this: the O-bots laughed their asses off as the previous WikiLeaks tended to harm U.S. troops and foreign persons that assisted our troops during the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Their contempt was easy to see, as only fascist militarists, Republicans and unwashed Afghans/Iraqis were going to get hurt -- and what was that in comparison to the need to exert First Amendment Rights. Remember the Pentagon Papers?!!!

By contrast, these Leaks are daggers to the Obama administration's heart, unmistakable signs of ineptitude and hubris. After the first load of documents, the competent President would have said "get this bastard before he gets us." Instead, Obama appears to have believed his own press: he seems to have thought that the previous Leaks were directed to the Hated One (George Bush) and now that he was in charge everyone would sing Kumbaya (isn't that Kenyan?) and forgive and forget. IDIOT. Or is that "idiots" with a stress on the plural ... I wouldn't have thought that Rahm E would have let that pass.

Real damage? The whole world has clear and convincing evidence that this Administration is amateur but not necessarily untrustworthy.  It is not that anyone thought we kept secrets anyway -- everyone knows that a few shekels in Washington will buy you all the intelligence you want from any one of a number of Senators or Congressmen.  It is just the pathetic cheapness of it all: sort of like Hugh Grant picking up a hooker off of Sunset. We look like a bunch of "wankers" in the British vernacular.  It exposes us as being so unbelievably ineffectual, taking seriously what 3rd assistant undersecretaries "drop" at cocktail parties -- we look like hicks on the World Stage.

Say what you like about the Bush Administration -- and about Bush in particular -- but there is no way Lord Voldemort/Cheney would have let this sort of thing pass.  Or imagine this on Ronnie's watch with Ollie North overseeing your manhunt? How long do you think Assange will make it if Putin' dirty laundry is aired for public viewing? Interpol would not scare me too much. The FSB would.

No doubt about it, Jimmy Carter is alive and well living channeling through hearts and minds of the West Wing.

Now -- nobody is knows what it was. Let's get a few things straight: it was not a jet contrail. It was a missile. A big one. I grew up watching missiles go up from Vandenberg, big ones like Titan IIs and smaller ones designed to test ICBMs and put small launch packages in low orbit.  I know what they look like. Once, seen never forgotten.

So, let's put aside the BS. The next big question is who did it and why? The most likely scenario is a U.S. sub off of our coast in a routine test of launch capability -- just maybe perhaps to show that Chinese that we are thinking about them.  But if so, this was rather crude. There was no need to launch in sight of the U.S. coast to alert the Chinese that we can do this from the Continental shelf. It is guaranteed that within 90 seconds into the boost phase, phones were ringing in Beijing demanding probable impact sites, anyway.

Secondly, there islands off of the Los Angeles Coast ... specifically San Nicolas Island. Which happens to be part of the Pacific Missile Range and is controlled by the U.S. Navy.  Don't even try to come close to the Island or bad things will happen. Try looking at 33"15' N by 119"28 W.  The island was considered as an alternative to White Sands in 1945 ... look it up if that means nothing to you. So while all these hand-wringing morons are shooting their mouths off on TV ... the whole thing makes perfect sense. And since when would the Pentagon, stand up and say "yep, that was one of ours ... a MIRV'd Trident shot from the pad on San Nic (or from a Boomer off the island and monitored by the land-based station)?"

So could it be a simple miscalculation as to sundown? Someone forgot? A message to others? Where was the downrange target? For NORAD and the Pentagon "not to know" would be one thing, but also guaranteed they know to within a few yards of where that payload splashed.

But what if ... what if it wasn't the U.S. Navy or SAC doing the shooting? What if, it was the Chinese showing that they could sneak a boomer onto the U.S. continental shelf, next to one of America's largest cities, and then popping off a rocket to show that they could do it too? Hmmm? How about that? Obama is widely perceived as a weenie in international power politics anyway, so why not "goose" him a little?  Would we admit that the Chinese could do it? Say the sub was in international waters right between the islands out there -- they they shoot one out over the Pacific: NORAD would know within a few 1000ft of boost that the missile was no threat to the continental U.S., so alerts would be muted, thinking they might have not been told by the Navy.

Or the Russians, for kicks? Right now the Chinese are being very strident about our financial machinations. They hate what the Fed is doing, and their very way of life depends on the U.S. continuing to buy their junk. What if it was a message and WE are the recipients?

Spin ... right off the road

Obama's spin meisters are trying to characterize the election drubbing suffered by Democrats across the country (the worst since 1938 ... coincidentally where their socio-commie legislation failed to revive the country from the Great Depression) as purely about jobs and (as in 1938) about the pace of recovery.

In 1938, FDR's plans for a great socialist nation essentially came to a grinding halt: there was no money to pay for the social reform plans and infrastructure programs didn't produce long-lasting jobs. Business was loathe to hire when the risks were too great that further government legislation would scupper their strategic planning.

Also, less well reported, was a general feeling among the nation that these guys (meaning FDR's minions) hadn't the faintest clue of what they were doing and were basically ripping apart the fabric of America.

In 2010, we had another wanna-be Democrat emperor, Democrat controlled House and Senate, ineffectual "stimulus" which turns out to be nothing more than transfer payments, a Fed determined to re-inflate our way out of financial stagnation (and pay off the loans with debased dollars), businesses unwilling to hire or recapitalize out of sheer fear of more economic insanity propagated in Washington --- and we are being told that the American people are just upset at the pace of recovery.

Mr. Obama ... and Democrats everywhere ... you are either being extremely dishonest or extremely stupid (for many of the faithful, I suspect the later and for the [p]resident, I suspect the former): the reason you were handed a "shellacking" is that you not representing the people of this country. You are pushing through legislation that the VAST majority (like over 70%) do not want, and are ignoring your promises.

Obama (in his speech to the Nation "the day after") stated that Democrats and Republicans needed to start to work together. "We were so busy doing things that we didn't focus on how to do them." Translated: when we got those absolute majorities, we didn't need you to push through our progressive agenda, so we cut you out of the process. You lying two faced schmuck! You PROMISED that you would work with the opposition. You PROMISED that you would be bi-partisan. You PROMISED that "this time things would be different." You campaigned on hope and CHANGE. NONE OF THIS HAPPENED. In fact, you made the Bush administration look positively cooperative. Pelosi stated (for the cameras) "we won the election, so we can do what we want."  But we expected more from you Mr. [p]resident ... we expected even a modicum of honesty. We didn't get it. You lied like a rug and got hammered for it.

Why was OBAMA (this election was a referendum on Obama, make no mistake about it) so badly mauled -- note that this is not about the jobs only? What created the Tea Party?

1. Transparency --
(a) The Obama Administration is the least transparent in modern history. It makes Richard Nixon look like an information tele-prompter.
(b) Congress did their deals in the dead of night with no meaningful (and often completely none) consultation with the opposition -- committees met behind closed doors, the GOP was barred from entering at any level.
(c) Legislation was passed without ANY legislator having actually read the text, and not just any legislation, but matters involving TRILLIONS of dollars, Pelosi told the Nation: we just have to pass it so that you can see what's in it. Such a thing is simply unheard of except in places like North Korea, China, the former German Reich and the former Soviet Union. Does that ring any alarm bells for anyone? Huh? We were PROMISED that legislation would be posted on the internet for 72 hours before a vote was taken.
(d) Obama promised deliberations on CSPAN ... PROMISED MANY TIMES ... and we have yet to seen any of it.
(e) Who are you Mr. O? Release your transcripts, your school applications, a real birth certificate. Release information to show where you were able to afford college at all? A foreign student?
(f) Czars. NEVER has there been so many un-elected officials directing the actions of the Executive Branch. Unaccountable, powerful and taking their orders from you, Obama. Sounds like the NKVD, FSA, Stasi and KGB.

2. A fabric-rending Socialist Agenda
(a) Obama has stated for the cameras that "a little wealth distribution is a good thing." Only he didn't mean a little, he meant a lot.
(b) ObamaCare -- more than any single piece of legislation, this one really sticks in our national craw: this is income redistribution writ large and for the benefit of the uninvited. NOWHERE ON EARTH does a government provide cradle to grave medical care for persons who are not citizens of that country. Nowhere. Except, perhaps, now the United States does. We cannot afford it. None of the European countries can afford it even for their own citizens, really -- and they don't have 30 million illegals draining the system without return.  Yet, $500 billion is going to be drained from "waste" and from excess/needless care for our seniors (elimination of the one program that works MediCare Advantage). The long-delayed cuts reimbursement rates for doctors, so conveniently delayed at every session of Congress will take effect ... probably in 2013, by which time either these crooks have another 4 years, or it becomes someone else's problem.  ALL OF OUR RATES WILL GO UP. Massachusetts has experience a 30% increase in rates since Romney care (that alone will cost him a Presidential election unless he just fesses up and says that he was wrong) -- and Massachusetts is the model for Obamacare. This will kill us.
(c) Cap and Trade. So if you cannot get it through the House the way you want -- too many legislators saw that this was political death for them -- you do an end-run through Federal Agencies arbitrarily making new standards and procedures that has the same effect as legislation ... but without any scrutiny by the public or even legislators.
(d) Refusal to enforce federal laws: our borders are meant to protect our country. They are not meant to be porous. Illegal immigrants are by the nature of the concept  ILLEGAL. We normal American citizens are forced to obey the laws by threat of incarceration -- but this HUGE 30 million segment of the population can drive around without insurance, use our hospitals as free medical care, get free housing, food stamps, education for their children, dishonor our flag, spend billions of dollars on English as a second language, billions more on bilingual signs, posters, pamphlets, medical requirements, translators in courts ... lost productivity. Billions ever year, flushed down the toilet needlessly.  Massachusetts could close its budget gap simply by eliminating spending on illegals -- just the ones that admit they are here, let along the undocumented illegals.... That even sounds like a contradiction in terms, but its not.
(e) A morally corrupt application of the laws that are enforced. How about indicting the Black Panthers for election fraud and interference with people's rights to vote? Or is it because the people losing their vote are white? There is film footage and dozens of witnesses ... but your flunky Eric Holder won't prosecute. Why? But he WILL file suite against Arizona which only sought to enforce the Federal Borders -- this NPR story about the private prison system is a red herring and completely ignores the reality of Arizona-- you are more likely to be kidnapped in Phoenix than just about anywhere in the the Western Hemisphere.

3. Hatred of America
(a) You hate America when you disrespect the Nation and your Office. You cannot do any more world apology tours. Stop it right now. We could not bear you going around kissing the ass of just about every despot on the face of the Globe. We couldn't believe you dissing our troops at every given point. We despised you bowing to the Saudi King and Chinese Chairman. You should not apologize for America having kept the world largely free of oppressive dictatorships over the last 60 years.
(b) The Boy Scouts of America represent a large segment of what is good about our country. You repudiated this and what they stand for by doing a campaign fund raiser instead of attending the BSA 100th jamboree. You disrespected every Boy or Girl Scout there ever was or will be. That includes me.
(c) Your wife clearly hates America -- that's the first time I was ever proud to be an American.  Fine. Go live somewhere else -- if they would have you.

4. The Race Card
(a) Black Liberation Theology.  Obama, you cannot just get away with attending a church that espouses hatred of races, hatred of America.  The church you attended for 20 years and in which faith you baptized your children, on whose roles and ledgers you signed up is a hate institution. If it was a "white church" giving those sermons, we'd call it the KKK. And you would perforce be a member. But since it is an African-American church and its minister the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr. is African-American somehow you get a pass? 
(b) Back to Eric Holder .... how does this clown determine what and where to prosecute? Mr. Obama, you are his boss.
(c) Aunty Zaituny --- Do you suppose that the Federal Judge valued not having their next posting somewhere like Fargo?

4. Other Broken Promises
(a) How about DOMA -- the Defense of Marriage Act? A truly disgusting piece of legislation if there ever was one. But with absolute majorities in the Congress you failed to do anything about this in the 18 months you could have absolutely rammed it through?
(b) Don't ask, don't tell. As with 4(a) above, you had all the opportunity in the world.
(c) Cut taxes -- just maybe on its face ... although since just under 50% of the nation pays not federal income taxes anyway, who cares? Who is the middle class anyway? BUT, when you look at all the back-door matters -- increased health care, increased energy costs, bailouts across the board will have to be paid for by taxpayers -- and your backdoor cap and trade WILL increase energy costs directly, and it WILL be regressive ... and failure to make permanent the Bush tax cuts: when you add the whole shebang up, we all owe a lot more each year than we did prior to 2008. And it will only get worse.
(d) Katrina ... what? Oh, I meant the absolute fiasco in the Gulf. George Bush must have been laughing his ass off. Your pathetic visits to the Gulf, dragging your family along for 8 hours to vacation.... Are you on drugs? Do you not see that the American Public understands this for what it is? You have an imperial Presidency -- you are not part of the "Common Man", you are a classic ivory tower  liberal who believes in "do as I say, and don't do as I do."
(e) Going to run a "green Presidency." So that is why you take Air Force One for a night out in New York City? Why you have played more golf during your presidency than Bush and Clinton combined -- in only 18 months. Where Michelle takes convoys of cars to go to the Farmer's Markets? Why you take Air Force One to Copenhagen to bid for Chicago for the Olympics? Why you are taking 34 warships, 50 cars and 10 747-loads of personnel to India for a 3 day trip?

The list could go on. All of these are reasons that count for the election drubbing. You are so out of touch that it is truly remarkable. And this is why WE THE PEOPLE want you and your kind (both Democrat and Republican) gone. For good. Electoral dust. The Tea Party is not about right-wing nut jobs. It is not about vote the Democrats out and Republicans in. It is about being a good American - law-abiding, family-oriented and hard working. Not lying or cheating. Gender and color neutral. Honest. Americans.

Nah.  The map is essentially red. Those parts that are blue are Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts and parts of the "far left" coast, as well as rust belt urban and native American reservations. That part of America that actually works for a living voted "for change." That is, against Obama.

Those parts that didn't have an uncanny ability to suspend reality. Let's look at a few Massachusetts races .... Barney Frank beat Sean Bielat. Barney Frank is going back to Washington for the 16th time ... 30 years of theft under his belt and another 2 to come. Frank will lose his chair on the Finance committee -- and as a consequence, some of his oratory platform. But he is a liar: there is so much tape from his statements in the early 2000's that conflict directly with what he said in the last two years. Not the least of which are his statements that Fannie and Freddy were sound and should continue their lending practices ... repeated in 2005-2006.  Now, "Fanny and Freddy suffered from Bush's policies, but they should continue to promote "affordable" housing." Huh? Is that saying, ok so they are broken, but let's continue anyway? Frank is perhaps the lead architect of the financial crisis, yet he continues to sail along changing his story every 20 minutes. Only in Massachusetts or the urban California could this idiot continue to be elected.

Another Massachusetts race: John Tierney. His wife just plead guilty for $7 million in money laundering related to campaign finance. Supposedly, Tierney knew nothing. Right. And he was just re-elected.  All this just happened - this is not long-ago history.

Suzanne Bump -- is a tax cheat. Yet, she just got elected State Auditor.  She claims that she inadvertently claimed two primary residences on her taxes ... because Massachusetts treats your secondary residence rather unfairly (it socks it to the owner). Bump furthermore ran on her managerial skills ... her experience consists of working for a trade association, as a state legislator and in the Executive Office of Labor. Her competitor is actually a practicing CPA and ran the audit department for the Masspike.   No matter, Bump got elected.

Cadillac Deval managed to achieve almost nothing in his first term, despite the Dems having despotic control of both Mass Houses. No new cops. No local aid. Higher taxes. Higher health care cost -- all primary and failed first campaign promises. Couple that with a refusal to enforce immigration laws, a desire to appoint friends to patronage posts (one of which was open for a decade before he saw the urgent need to appoint the $160K a year post), give credit cards to welfare recipients that are also valid for liquor purchases, slots and dog track gambling. Huh? Support card check? Boycott Arizona? Also cars to illegals, phones to welfare recipients, Aunty Zaituni in Dorchester, more redecoration ....  Not to be believed.

And this is the paradigm, for Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, too. Rhode Island has long made Massachusetts look good ... Democrat corruption there is simply breath-taking, even the locals joke about it ... but continue to vote the bums in: The Dems have figured out that if they steal enough to hand out to their supporters, all will be forgiven.

The GOP / Tea Party scored incredible gains across the nation in a repudiation of Obama and the Democrat's policies ... this is a NATIONAL thing. Except for some idiots living in cocoons of non-reality in Berkeley, Cambridge, NYC, Newton, Cleveland and LA. The GOP even scored wins in Michigan ....
